Sunday Bloody Sunday: Excision Edition

When I saw Excision last year, I was in awe of its lead actress, AnnaLynne McCord.  She put on a bravura performance unlike any I've seen in quite some time.  If you haven't seen the film, I'd suggest checking it out. But be warned, the subject matter is kinky, disturbing, and entirely bloody awesome.

Amen sister, Excision is great and AnnaLynne McCord is amazing. I had no idea who she was when I saw it, and really believed she was just this deeply weird girl they found to play a deeply weird character. Tracy Lords was pretty great too.

Marvin/Anon: Indeed if you didn't ever see McCord in anything else, you'd think she was messed up for sure!
She was truly amazing!

I saw Excision without a clue what it was last year, and it was pretty amazing. When I saw John Waters I thought it was going to be amusing, so I really didn't expect that ending.

Although they're different movies in a lot of ways, it was interesting to get this and American Mary within a couple of months of each other.

Pearce: The fact that it was so darkly humorous is what I think I liked the most, in particular all her "reasoning" with God.
